Make the Library an integral part of your experience at Sussex County Community College. Our mission is to provide qualified and concerned staff members, an organized and readily accessible collection, as well as facilities and other resources that enrich and support the college curriculum, facilitate independent research and study, and contribute to the intellectual, moral and cultural development of the college community.

Take advantage of all the services and resources that the Library at Sussex County Community College provides. It is not necessary to come to the Library to use our resources; much of what we offer is also available online. (See the navigation bar for our online resources.)

In the Library, we have a collection of approximately 38,000 items (including videos, DVDs, and periodicals), a number of workstations and laptops that provide access to subscription electronic databases (most of which are also available remotely), and wireless service to Library patrons using their own wireless-enabled devices. The electronic catalog can be accessed through terminals located throughout the facility as well as remotely (from home or smart device). Printing is available for a nominal fee with your ID or a copy card.

Please note library hours may vary during holidays, summer session or semester breaks. Signs will be posted at the Library entrance.

ID Cards can be obtained from the Concierge (in the entrance to the Administration/B building). Stop by to have your photograph taken and don’t forget to bring photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and proof of registration for verification.
